Logistics Coordinator – Scheduling & Customer Service

About the role

We are looking for an organised Logistics Coordinator to join our fast‑growing team in Bridgwater. You will act as the hub between field engineers, accounts and sales, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and service levels are met.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and allocate work for a team of field engineers across the country.
• Plan routes, manage service level agreements and monitor technician travel.
• Enter and process sales orders via phone and email, maintaining accurate records.
• Handle customer enquiries from initial contact through to resolution.
• Escalate issues when timelines cannot be met and ensure timely follow‑up.

Required profile

• Previous experience in scheduling, logistics or transport environments.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and adapt to a fast‑paced, multi‑skill setting.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Self‑motivated team player with proactive problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience using bespoke logistics software and interpreting technical information.
