Logistics & Materials Lead

About the role

The Logistics & Materials Lead will act as the primary interface between Morson Edge and its contracted logistics service providers. You will ensure that all logistics activities – including marine, aviation, road and quayside operations – are delivered safely, cost‑effectively and in line with business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end logistics operations and material movements across marine, aviation, road and quayside channels.
• Own and administer relevant contracts, driving value and innovation.
• Oversee third‑party providers such as vessel owners, helicopter operators and warehouse contractors.
• Monitor contractor performance, KPIs and service delivery, maintaining accurate tracking records.
• Direct warehouse and supply‑base activities, including handling, storage, disposal and inventory optimisation.
• Coordinate aviation logistics, helicopter bookings and personnel compliance.
• Charter marine vessels, schedule ad‑hoc and anchor‑handling ships, and support rig mobilisation/demobilisation.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, customs regulations and disposal requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing logistics and material movements in a complex, multi‑modal environment.
• Strong contract management and supplier relationship skills.
• Ability to monitor performance metrics and enforce compliance.
• Experience coordinating offshore transport and emergency response logistics.
