Logistics & Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Logistics & Operations Coordinator to join our global manufacturing business on a part‑time basis. The role offers flexible hours and will support both domestic and international logistics to ensure materials and equipment reach the right place at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, preparing accurate documentation and meeting agreed schedules.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders and transport companies.
• Arrange hired plant and equipment according to project and operational requirements.
• Manage urgent, time‑critical shipments and work to tight deadlines.
• Provide proactive communication to maintain customer expectations.
• Plan materials and deliveries for depot manufacturing operations, adapting to changing schedules.
• Assist with travel and logistics arrangements for site‑based teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics, shipping or coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy contracting or manufacturing environment.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to adjust priorities as business needs evolve.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using logistics or accounting software.
