Logistics Operative

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Operative to join a global aerospace leader at its Chalgrove site. The role supports a busy logistics and production environment within a defence‑related pyro‑assembly department, where precision, health‑and‑safety standards and quality are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and prepare production orders using Kardex systems and manual methods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SAP transactions.
• Receive and book inbound goods (hardware and pyro‑materials) into SAP, coordinating with stores and facilities teams.
• Move stock around the site according to the daily production plan and ER2014 requirements.
• Prepare shipments, including palletising, labelling, and completing Dangerous Goods and ADR driver checks.
• Conduct regular stock checks and support 5S‑based store and explosive magazine organisation.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a high‑security, health‑and‑safety focused environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to following strict procedural guidelines.
• Flexibility to adapt to shift changes after the initial probation period.

Required skills

• SAP for inventory and goods receipt processing.
• Kardex picking systems.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling and ADR driver checks.
