Logistics Operator – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Logistics Operator to join Bulkhaul’s Middlesbrough hub. The role supports the operations team in coordinating daily transport activities, ensuring goods move safely and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and managing daily logistics operations.
• Communicate with external suppliers and internal teams to secure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and shipment tracking.
• Prepare and process logistics documents and support schedule planning.
• Liaise with the Customer Service team to provide shipment status updates.
• Help resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
• Provide out‑of‑hours cover on a rotating basis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation or operations support (preferred).
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• NVQ Diploma or equivalent; logistics or supply‑chain qualifications are a plus.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
