Logistics Operator – Warehouse & Materials Control

About the role

The Logistics Operator will join a dedicated logistics team at a rolling‑stock manufacturing site in Selhurst, London. Working Monday‑Friday, you will be responsible for receiving, controlling and delivering material to internal and external customers while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack and issue material to production lines and out‑stations using correct manual handling techniques.
• Top‑up line‑side material locations and assemble material kits.
• Off‑load deliveries, verify quality and quantity against documentation, and process any delivery issues.
• Complete delivery paperwork, log issues through the NCR process and file records.
• Conduct planned and ad‑hoc stock audits and transact material between locations in the management system.
• Perform safety audits of racking, shelving and equipment, reporting any concerns.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with SAP (required) and preferably Maximo.
• Self‑motivated with basic PC skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Fluent English and good communication abilities.

• Hourly rate of £14.24 PAYE or £18.37 Umbrella.
