Loss Prevention Manager

About the role

The Loss Prevention Manager will lead the strategy to protect stock, reduce shrinkage and safeguard profit across a large fashion retail estate of around 100 stores in London and Greater London. Reporting to the Head of Retail Operations, you will build the function from the ground up and work closely with Finance, People, Stock Accountants and Retail Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the loss prevention, stock loss and profit protection strategy for the entire store estate.
• Partner with Finance, People, Stock Accountants and Retail Operations to embed best practices.
• Conduct regular store visits, build relationships with store managers and provide coaching with a soft‑but‑firm approach.
• Oversee regulatory compliance across all locations.
• Report to senior leadership and present performance metrics.
• Scale the function over time, including recruiting and developing a dedicated team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a multi‑store retail environment, preferably in loss, profit or asset protection.
• At least 3 years operating in a sole‑charge capacity, partnering with both stores and head office.
• Comfortable travelling regularly across a large store network.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage confidently from store floor to senior leadership.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with finance and operations teams.
