About the role

Join TK Maxx in Cardiff as a part‑time Loss Prevention Officer. You will be the friendly face at store entrances, helping to create a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, approachable presence at store entrances.
• Deter and prevent loss on the sales floor through proactive observation.
• Collaborate with the store team to secure merchandise and assets.
• Assist in conflict resolution and de‑escalation when needed.
• Uphold professional conduct under pressure and support a positive customer experience.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑facing role, fast‑paced retail environment, or security guard position (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to stay calm, composed, and professional in stressful situations.
• Self‑motivated, resilient, and driven to make a difference.
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to engage with people.
