Lounge Host

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Lounge Host to join our luxury airline catering team. You will be responsible for delivering first‑class food and beverage service to lounge guests, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of our brand.

Key responsibilities

• Take note of guest food requests and serve food and beverages.
• Set up and clear tables for dining, maintain the buffet and replenish items.
• Explain dishes, allergens and menu options to guests.
• Polish cutlery, crockery and glassware.
• Assist the bar staff and culinary team with food and drink orders.
• Handle passenger queries and complaints, escalating to supervisors when needed.
• Support the cleaning team in lounge and back‑of‑house areas during non‑operational periods.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hospitality experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills in English.
• Team player with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and stay self‑motivated.
• Flexible availability – the lounge operates 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Ability to describe buffet and à la carte dishes, including allergens.
• Experience with polishing cutlery, crockery and glassware.
• Competence in liaising with bar and culinary teams.
• Basic assistance with cleaning operations.
