Lounge Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Lounge Supervisor to lead the front‑of‑house operations at our Heathrow Airport lounge. The role involves coordinating with the kitchen, managing staff and ensuring a premium experience for airline passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage rostering for all catering staff, including kitchen personnel.
• Oversee timesheets and payroll administration.
• Order food, drinks and sundries using the Do & Co ordering system.
• Liaise with the Lounge Manager, Supervisors and laundry services for linen needs.
• Order cleaning supplies and ensure stock control.
• Conduct performance management, training and development of staff.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete daily audits and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure food temperature compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support overall service delivery and attend to passengers as part of the attendant team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a supervisor in the hospitality industry.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and delegate tasks effectively.
• Strong focus on delivering excellent guest service and handling complaints.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Quick problem‑identification and solution development.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Understanding of budgeting, inventory control and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with menu offerings, beverage pairings and food safety regulations.
• Ability to handle staff or guest conflicts diplomatically.
• Collaborative mindset and flexibility to adapt to changing operational demands.
