Lunchtime Supervisor – SEN Secondary School (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking two part‑time Lunchtime Supervisors to support a large SEN secondary school in Lewisham. The role runs Monday to Friday, 11:45 am until 2 pm, providing one‑to‑one assistance to students during their midday meal.

Key responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with teachers to implement individual learning plans.
• Develop students’ social and emotional skills to promote independence.
• Assess each student’s progress and report findings to teachers and parents.
• Provide dedicated, one‑to‑one support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.

Required profile

• Minimum six months experience working with SEN pupils.
• Patient and adaptable approach to challenging situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma (desirable).
• Enhanced DBS check required.
