Luxury Sales Advisor – Harrods Department Store

About the role

Max Mara is seeking a passionate Sales Advisor to join its team at one of London’s most prestigious department stores. You will be the face of the brand on the shop floor, delivering an exceptional experience to an international, discerning clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist clients in line with Max Mara’s brand philosophy and service standards.
• Drive individual and team sales targets set by the Store Manager.
• Build and nurture long‑term client relationships through proactive clienteling, CRM tools, follow‑ups, appointments and in‑store events.
• Provide expert styling advice and product storytelling, highlighting heritage, materials and craftsmanship.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the floor is impeccably presented.
• Continuously develop product knowledge, fashion awareness and competitor insight.
• Handle client queries, after‑sales requests and complaints with professionalism.
• Act as a brand ambassador within the multi‑brand department store environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–3 years of retail experience, preferably in luxury fashion or a London department store.
• Fluent English with a genuine passion for fashion and the Max Mara universe.
• Proven ability to build a personal client book and develop loyal relationships.
• Goal‑oriented, proactive and motivated by personal and team KPIs.
• Polished presentation, excellent interpersonal skills and a true service mindset.
• Flexibility to work weekends, peak trading periods and key retail events.
