M365 Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M365 Engineer to join a busy IT team on a short‑term contract. You will ensure Microsoft 365 services run smoothly, securely, and efficiently while supporting users and driving automation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, Office apps).
• Troubleshoot day‑to‑day user issues and provide timely support.
• Configure user access, permissions and maintain system security.
• Assist with the rollout and safe use of Microsoft Copilot (AI tools).
• Integrate third‑party applications with Office and ensure seamless operation.
• Identify process improvements and automate manual tasks where possible.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365.
• Good understanding of user access, security and permissions.
• Experience with Azure Entra ID (identity and access management).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Comfortable explaining technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Nice to have experience in regulated or complex environments and knowledge of data protection compliance.
