Machine Learning Intern – Model Interpretability

About the role
We are a London‑based, VC‑backed pre‑seed startup focused on mechanistic interpretability and model security. We are looking for a hands‑on Machine Learning Intern to join our small team and contribute to a focused interpretability project.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with machine‑learning research on language‑model interpretability.
- Support ML tooling and inference pipelines.
- Participate in software product development.
Required profile
- Current student or recent graduate in ML, computer science, mathematics or related field.
- Comfortable writing Python.
- Some exposure to machine learning through coursework, projects or self‑study.
- Curious, self‑motivated and able to thrive in a small, fast‑paced team.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- Familiarity with standard Python frameworks such as NumPy, PyTorch, Transformers (nice‑to‑have).
