Machine Operative – Temp to Perm

About the role
We are looking for a Machine Operative to join a manufacturing team in Leighton Buzzard on a temp‑to‑perm basis. The role starts immediately and offers the chance to develop practical skills in a busy production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily start‑up checks on machinery.
- Set up machines for each specific product run.
- Monitor machines to ensure optimal performance and meet production speed targets.
- Inspect finished products, identify faults and support corrective actions.
- Work to production deadlines and assist with warehouse, assembly and other production tasks as required.
Required profile
- Some experience in manufacturing or production is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely on the shop floor.
- Reliability and willingness to work full‑time Monday to Friday.

What we offer
- Salary: £12.71 per hour, paid weekly.
- Working hours: 08:30 am – 05:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Temp‑to‑perm contract with an immediate start date.
