Machine Operator – 12‑hour Continental Shifts

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a fast‑growing manufacturing team in Wigan. You will work 12‑hour continental shifts (2 days, 2 nights) and play a vital part in keeping our production lines running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor multiple production lines, including packing, palletising, lid loading and material replenishment.
• Carry out quality and process checks to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Support line changeovers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work under the guidance of the Shift Operational Lead to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a machine/operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work 12‑hour continental shifts (2 days, 2 nights).
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
• Proactive, reliable and able to follow instructions.
