Machine Operator – Double Days (Shift 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)

About the role

This position offers an experienced Machine Operator the chance to join a stable, well‑established food manufacturing business in Rochester. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, operating production machinery while meeting output, quality and safety targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery across two daily shifts.
• Achieve daily production targets and maintain strict quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.
• Identify and resolve machine stoppages promptly to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator or Production Operator in a manufacturing setting.
• Preferably experience within the UK food manufacturing sector.
