Machine Setter – Injection Moulding (Exeter)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Setter to join a well‑established plastic injection moulding and extrusion manufacturer on the outskirts of Exeter. The role involves operating and setting injection moulding machines across the full product lifecycle, from design through to final logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run injection moulding machines safely and efficiently.
• Perform tool changes and validate new tooling.
• Optimise processes to improve cycle times and product quality.
• Maintain hot‑runner systems and ensure tool integrity.
• Carry out routine machine and tool maintenance.

Required profile

• Proven experience setting and operating injection moulding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to undertake further training and develop within the business.
