About the role
Join the engineering team at a leading European food processor in Queenslie, Glasgow. As a Machine Setter you will strip, set up and rebuild production machinery to keep the plant running smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Strip down and rebuild production machinery.
- Set machines according to production requirements.
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Support production teams to meet output targets.
- Follow all health, safety and food‑safety standards.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to work permanent day or night shifts on a 4‑on/4‑off pattern.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary: £31,668 per year.
- Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off – permanent days (5 am‑5 pm / 7 am‑7 pm).
