Machinist – Full-time in Ashford

About the role

We are looking for skilled Machinists to join our client’s workshop team in Ashford on a permanent basis, with the possibility of a temp‑to‑perm arrangement. This role offers a stable, full‑time schedule and the chance to work on a variety of machining projects in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate workshop machines such as saws, drills, punches, guillotines, rollers and benders.
• Maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Produce high‑quality machined components meeting required specifications.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe, managing the oily nature of the work.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and productivity.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with workshop machinery.
• Can‑do attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Team‑player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hands‑on, sometimes oily environment.
