Machinist – Full‑time position in Ashford

About the role
We are looking for skilled Machinists to join our client’s workshop team in Ashford on a permanent basis. The role offers a supportive environment where you can develop your machining expertise while contributing to a variety of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain workshop machines such as saws, drills, punches, guillotines, rollers and benders.
- Ensure high‑quality standards for all machining tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop, handling the oily nature of the work safely.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with workshop machinery.
- Can‑do attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Team‑player mentality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hands‑on, sometimes oily environment.
