Maintenance Coordinator – Manufacturing Scheduler

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join a historic food manufacturing business in Wigton. The role is day‑based, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm, and works closely with the Engineering Manager to keep plant equipment running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor all planned maintenance activities.
• Conduct routine workshop checks and ensure RAMS documentation is up to date.
• Sign‑in, induct and oversee external contractors on site.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Use the company CMMS to record work orders and track performance.

Required profile

• Experience as a planner, coordinator or scheduler in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid maintenance background, preferably in mechanical or electrical plant.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time and collaborate with engineering teams.

Required skills

• CMMS usage.
• Maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Understanding of RAMS procedures.
