Maintenance Electrician – Static/Commercial

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial‑background Electrician for a permanent, static position within a world‑leading research organisation on a 400‑acre campus. The role offers full onsite training and the chance to develop into supervisory positions in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC units across historic and modern buildings.
• Service fire alarm systems and smart building technologies.
• Inspect and test standby generators.
• Perform routine electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Collaborate with facilities teams to ensure compliance and safety.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with commercial experience.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Thursday 8:00‑16:00 and Friday 8:00‑15:30.
• Ability to work on a large, mixed‑use site.
• Commitment to continuous learning and progression.
