Maintenance Engineer – Electrical/Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a globally‑renowned specialist manufacturer in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire. You will receive on‑the‑job training to become a multi‑skilled engineer working with modern automation and PLC systems in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Fault‑find, repair and maintain a range of bespoke electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Work a 4‑on‑4‑off continental shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off).
• Participate in continuous training and development programmes.
• Support production uptime by responding to breakdowns and performing preventative maintenance.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to commute to West Yorkshire from surrounding towns.
• Willingness to work the continental shift schedule.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical equipment knowledge.
• Automation and PLC system familiarity.
• Fault finding, repair and maintenance techniques.
