Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to diagnose and maintain modern injection moulding machinery and related equipment at our client’s facility in Ashford. The role involves hands‑on fault finding, preventive maintenance and ensuring equipment reliability across a 32‑hour week.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on injection moulding machines.
• Perform routine maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain and service electrical components where required.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage.
• Support continuous improvement of equipment uptime.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Preferably experience with electrical systems.
• Previous work with injection moulding machinery is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work Monday‑Thursday 8‑5 schedule.
