About the role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturing site in North Lanarkshire. The role offers the chance to develop engineering skills, work on varied projects and progress your career within a growing company.
Key responsibilities
- Perform repairs, routine testing and maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment.
- Maintain adequate workshop spares and support stock control for the allocated area.
- Complete planned maintenance work orders and ensure all auditable paperwork is correctly filed.
- Adopt a proactive approach to maintenance, contributing to preventative maintenance strategies.
- Support KPI improvements and drive reliability initiatives.
Required profile
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
- Experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with shift patterns, including early and late rotating shifts.
Required skills
- PLC programming and automation systems.
- Hydraulics.
- Pneumatics.
