Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing/FMCG

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a high‑end dessert manufacturing business in Cranbrook. The role involves keeping a wide range of production equipment running at peak performance within a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults promptly.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement projects across the factory.
• Maintain and enhance site machinery to ensure reliable operation.

Required profile

• Background as a Maintenance Engineer or similar.
• Experience in a manufacturing, FMCG or food production setting.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work flexible start times (1 pm‑9 pm, Monday‑Friday).
