Maintenance & Grounds Staff / Driver

About the role

Join the facilities team at Westmorland School and help keep the campus safe, functional and welcoming for pupils. You will carry out routine repairs, maintain school vehicles and ensure the grounds are tidy, while also being a friendly presence for young people.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day maintenance and minor repairs across the school building.
• Drive and service school vehicles, keeping them in good working order.
• Maintain the school grounds, garden and outdoor areas to a high standard.
• Interact with pupils in a supportive manner and receive child‑safeguarding training.
• Assist with general health and safety tasks as required.

Required profile

• Some experience in maintenance or related hands‑on work.
