Maintenance Operative

About the role

Join Hallmark Luxury Care Homes as a Maintenance Operative, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents. You will be responsible for routine upkeep, minor repairs, and supporting health and safety compliance across our Kew facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping tasks to keep the building in optimal condition.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
• Support health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate updates to the care team.
• Assist with emergency repairs and respond to resident requests in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role.
• Good understanding of health and safety standards.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
