Maintenance Operative

About the role
Join Mears Group, the UK’s leading provider of repairs, maintenance and regeneration services, as a Maintenance Operative supporting social housing properties. You will work on‑site to deliver reactive repairs, assist electricians, and ensure homes are safe and comfortable for residents.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out reactive repairs on occupied housing properties.
- Support electricians with day‑to‑day repair tasks.
- Collect and manage materials required for maintenance jobs.
- Adhere to safety, quality and cost‑control standards.
Required profile
- Relevant trade experience.
- Previous work within social housing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
