Maintenance Supervisor – £44k + Benefits

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team of engineers in a high‑growth manufacturing environment. The role operates on a Monday‑Friday rotating shift pattern (6 am‑2 pm, 2 pm‑10 pm) and offers clear progression into senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Plan, schedule and optimise Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Implement process improvements and drive efficiency across the plant.
• Manage weekly shift rotations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide autonomy for the team to innovate and enhance maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintenance or engineering management.
• Supervisory experience with a mechanical and/or electrical background.
• Experience in heavy engineering, manufacturing or plant environments.

Required skills

• Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) scheduling.
• Mechanical systems maintenance.
• Electrical systems maintenance.
