Maintenance Surveyor

About the role

As a Maintenance Surveyor you will deliver repairs and voids maintenance services for properties within an allocated patch. The role blends site visits with desk‑based work, ensuring high‑quality, timely repairs for customers while supporting the company’s mission of safe, affordable homes.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to assess repair needs using knowledge of domestic building construction, HHSRS and schedule of rates.
• Raise and track repair jobs in the bespoke Housing Management System from initiation to completion.
• Uphold the Empty Homes (Voids) standard, delivering first‑class quality homes within agreed timescales.
• Identify and address health‑related hazards such as damp and mould in line with Awaab’s Law.
• Collaborate with contractors, housing teams and internal colleagues to improve service efficiency and customer experience.

Required profile

• HNC in Building or equivalent experience in maintenance and construction.
• Strong understanding of building design, fabrics and lifecycle management.
• Experience working with housing disrepair regulations and health‑related repair standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the bespoke Housing Management System.

What we offer

• Salary of £46,620 per annum (including regional uplift and car allowance).
• Hybrid working – Camberley base with occasional travel to Ashford.
• Permanent contract, 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday.
