Maintenance Technician – Fixed Term (12 months)

About the role

Join a global leader in medical technology as a Maintenance Technician on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will ensure that IMMULITE manufacturing equipment runs at peak efficiency, directly supporting the production of diagnostic solutions that impact patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of manufacturing equipment, minimizing downtime.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and pneumatic faults using appropriate troubleshooting techniques and address root causes.
• Collaborate with production teams and the maintenance systems coordinator to prioritize tasks and resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Document all maintenance activities in the CMMS in line with GDP guidelines.
• Identify recurring problems and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with EHS procedures.

Required profile

• Level 3/ONC qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or General Engineering.
• Completed apprenticeship with relevant time served.
• Experience maintaining electrical/mechanical plant, especially packaging and process equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical control panels, A/C inverters and PLC control systems.
• Experience with pneumatic systems.
• Background in an ISO‑regulated quality environment; GMP knowledge is a plus.
