Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join a fast‑growing, global consumer‑goods manufacturer operating a brand‑new, purpose‑built facility in Merseyside. The Maintenance Technician will keep a range of bespoke electro‑mechanical packaging equipment running smoothly, supporting continuous production and product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain electro‑mechanical packaging machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training programmes to develop specialised skills.

Required profile

• Previous experience in maintenance, service engineering or a similar role within FMCG, manufacturing or packaging environments.
• Ability to work rotating early and late shifts, including double‑day patterns.
• Commutes to the Merseyside area (e.g., Liverpool, Warrington, St Helens, Widnes, Runcorn, Wigan, Ormskirk, Formby, Southport).
