About the role

Our client, a national loss adjusting practice, is seeking a UK Major & Complex Loss Director to lead a small caseload of the most complex claims while overseeing all losses exceeding £1 million. The role is home‑based with travel as required to manage major losses and mentor a national team.

Key responsibilities

Handle a selective caseload of the largest and most complex losses.
Oversee all claims above £1 million across the organisation.
Provide support, guidance and mentoring to over 20 Major Loss Adjusters nationwide.
Decide which losses to manage personally and which to delegate.
Maintain and develop client relationships, generating new business opportunities.

Required profile

A/FCILA qualification.
Proven track record of managing million‑pound plus losses without supervision.
Willingness to travel throughout the UK for loss handling and team supervision.

Required skills

What we offer

Basic salary up to £90,000 per year.
Generous bonus potential of up to £40,000 annually.
Car allowance, pension scheme, and 25 days holiday.
