Major Loss Adjuster

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Major & Complex Loss Adjuster to join our established loss adjusting team. You will manage your own caseload of major and complex insurance claims across the South East of England, conducting site visits and delivering comprehensive reports.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out site visits throughout the South East to investigate major and complex loss claims.
• Manage a personal caseload from initial assessment through to settlement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insureds, insurers, brokers and other stakeholders.
• Instruct and liaise with experts such as surveyors, forensic scientists and lawyers.
• Prepare detailed, complex reports and supporting documentation.
• Negotiate settlements and agree communication plans with all parties.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Major & Complex Loss Field Adjuster in a loss adjusting or insurer environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation abilities and experience producing detailed reports.
• Industry qualification (ACILA or equivalent) and a full clean driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
