Major Loss Adjuster

About the role

Recruit Ins Ltd is seeking an experienced Major Loss Adjuster to join its respected loss adjusting team. You will manage a portfolio of complex, high‑value commercial property claims across London and the South, taking ownership from initial instruction through to settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major commercial property losses, often involving significant damage and business interruption.
• Investigate, scope and validate claims from notification to settlement.
• Produce detailed reports with clear recommendations for insurers and clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insurers, policyholders and contractors.
• Collaborate with internal technical specialists when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Commercial Property Loss Adjuster handling major, technically complex claims.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property insurance policies and claims processes.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholder relationships.
• Professional qualifications such as ACILA/CILA are advantageous.
