About the role
Our client, a national loss adjusting practice, is expanding its commercial Major Loss Unit and seeks a Senior Major Loss Surveyor to lead complex, high‑value building loss cases across the South Central and South East of England. The role is home‑based with extensive travel to client sites.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of commercial losses exceeding £100,000, providing technical assessment and reporting.
- Deliver consultancy and guidance to junior colleagues within the Major Loss Unit.
- Coordinate with insurers, clients, and contractors to ensure accurate loss quantification.
- Travel across the South Central and South East region to conduct site surveys and inspections.
Required profile
- Dual qualification MRICS and ACILA.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in loss adjusting, specifically in commercial major loss projects.
- Proven track record of handling high‑value, technically complex building loss cases.
