Major Loss Surveyor

About the role

Our client, a national loss adjusting practice, is expanding its commercial Major Loss Unit and seeks a Senior Major Loss Surveyor to lead the South Central and South East region. Working from home, you will manage complex building‑related commercial losses exceeding £100,000 and provide expert consultancy to colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and resolve technical building loss cases across the South Central and South East area.
• Maintain a personal caseload of high‑value commercial losses and ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide consultancy and guidance to junior adjusters and other team members.
• Travel as required to client sites and attend regional meetings.

Required profile

• Dual qualification MRICS and ACILA.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in loss adjusting, specifically commercial major loss work.
• Proven track record handling losses above £100,000.
• Willingness to cover a wide geographical area, ideally based in South Central England.
