Major Projects Construction Manager

About the role

As a Major Projects Construction Manager, you will manage and control the installation of individual units within major projects through completion, handover to the client and transition to maintenance, under the guidance and leadership of the Project Manager. You will oversee and manage installation teams to ensure the safe, high‑quality and on‑time delivery of KONE solutions within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver installation projects on time, within budget and to KONE quality standards.
• Champion a zero‑accident safety culture and manage environmental aspects on site.
• Plan and coordinate delivery, storage and availability of materials, tools and equipment.
• Oversee site preparations, permits, documentation and ensure correct installation methods.
• Lead final testing activities and support handover to maintenance.
• Manage project financial performance and report progress, risks and budgets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in construction, elevator or escalator industry.
• Proven leadership managing site‑based installation teams.
• Strong technical understanding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commercial awareness of project financial performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
