Male Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking a confident Male Support Worker to join our residential service at Chaseways, providing outcome‑focused care for adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities and complex needs. Working 35 hours a week, you will make a positive difference to the lives of service users in a supportive community setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver enhanced, person‑centred care using a flexible learning approach.
• Provide physical and emotional support, offering guidance and encouragement.
• Identify individual needs and respond with appropriate assistance.
• Assist with medical and welfare requirements and report them as needed.
• Safeguard service users and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Required profile

• Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference.
• Excellent communicator and effective team player.
• Sensitive, intuitive and able to create a trusting, stimulating environment.
• Passionate about empowering independence.
• Driving licence desirable; successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
