Male Support Worker – Special Needs College

About the role

We are looking for a male Support Worker to join a special‑needs college in Hackney. You will help young adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live independently and participate fully in classroom and community activities. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday during term time.

Key responsibilities

• Assist pupils with daily living tasks both in the classroom and in the community.
• Support social activities, helping students connect with family and friends.
• Work as part of a class team, providing direct support within lessons.
• Encourage use of community resources and promote independence.

Required profile

• Ability to commute to Hackney easily.
• Right to work in the UK without restriction (no visa sponsorship).
• Availability to work full‑time, Monday‑Friday, term‑time only.
• Support worker experience preferred but not essential.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
