Management Accountant – Finance & FP&A

About the role

Marc Daniels is seeking a Management Accountant to join a growing finance team in Hounslow for a market‑leading logistics organisation. The successful candidate will own the monthly management accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, and act as a trusted business partner to non‑finance stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, taking ownership of the full P&L.
• Monitor revenue, costs and profitability, providing clear financial insight to support business performance.
• Produce detailed variance analysis with insightful commentary.
• Present financial reports and performance updates to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Partner with budget holders and operational teams as a trusted business partner.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning activities.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic and commercial decision‑making.
• Investigate variances and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Contribute to FP&A activities including scenario modelling, reporting and performance analysis.
• Drive process improvements across the finance function and ensure timely, accurate communication of financial information.

Required profile

• Proven experience preparing monthly management accounts.
• Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience partnering with non‑finance stakeholders and presenting to senior managers.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and FP&A activities.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting abilities.
• Commercially focused, proactive and hands‑on approach.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
