Management Accountant – Finance Team (Belfast)

About the role

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Belfast. The role sits within the Financial Control Department and primarily supports our US‑focused operations while serving a network of offices across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for the US and other offices, including P&L and balance‑sheet reviews.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and highlight unreconciled items.
• Post journals, review costs and ensure balances are fully supported.
• Execute monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate movements and clear aged balances.
• Produce variance analysis versus budget and forecast, explaining key drivers.
• Assist the management team during budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Maintain accurate data in finance and forecasting systems, adhering to internal controls.
• Support statutory and group audit processes by preparing audit‑ready schedules.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• Member of, or working towards membership of, a recognised professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 1‑2 years of experience in a professional services or comparable environment.
