Management Accountant – Fixed-Term, Hybrid

About the role

This commercially‑focused Management Accountant role is centred on financial analysis rather than routine accounting. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide insight‑driven commentary to support business performance and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial performance, comment on trends and variances.
• Conduct margin analysis and identify profitability drivers.
• Review and interpret financial ratios, KPIs and business performance metrics.
• Produce financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Identify risks, opportunities and cost‑saving initiatives through data analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Partner with non‑finance stakeholders to deliver commercial insights.
• Develop reports and dashboards using ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Required profile

• Qualified or part‑qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Analyst or Commercial Finance role.
• Strong financial analysis background with the ability to interpret statements.
• Experience analysing margins, profitability, KPIs and business performance.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
