Management Accountant – Hybrid, Glasgow

About the role

As a Management Accountant you will support a business services company operating in the facilities sector. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, provide cost analysis and help drive decisions that support the organisation's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Provide detailed cost analysis and support budget planning processes.
• Work closely with operational teams to monitor financial performance.
• Assist in forecasting, variance analysis and business decision support.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
• Support external audits by supplying required documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver financial insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a finance environment, preferably commercially focused.
• Ideally studying for a professional accountancy qualification (support provided).
• Strong commitment to meeting multiple deadlines.
• Proactive approach to process improvement.
