Management Accountant (Hybrid)

About the role

This permanent, hybrid Management Accountant position offers the chance to own a client portfolio, work across office, home and client sites, and directly influence business decisions. You will provide tailored financial insight to a mix of clients while enjoying a flexible working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 4–7 clients, delivering high‑quality management accounts.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting.
• Analyse profitability across projects, products and revenue streams.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Support forecasting, cash‑flow forecasting and forward planning.

Required profile

• AAT qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA studying or qualified is a plus).
• Relevant experience in a similar role, either in practice or industry.
• Strong knowledge of Sage 50 and Xero.
• Confidence with Excel and client communication.
• Solid experience across management accounts, VAT, reconciliations and forecasting.
