Management Accountant (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a growing finance team in Slough. The role will own the UK management accounts process within a manufacturing SME, offering hybrid working and broad exposure across the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support month‑end and year‑end close.
• Produce financial reports to aid business performance and decision‑making.
• Manage pre‑payments, accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse inventory and stock movements and provide regular reporting.
• Review cost of sales, identify trends and variances.
• Work closely with colleagues across the business to provide financial insight.
• Assist with continuous improvements to finance processes and reporting.
• Use the organisation’s ERP system to maintain accurate financial records.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Part‑qualified or qualified by experience with strong reporting abilities.
• Confident working across teams and proactive in learning.
• Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
