Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a leading manufacturing organisation with a global footprint. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will support the finance team across international businesses and help drive accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with annual budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed asset register.
• Perform balance‑sheet, intercompany and bank reconciliations.
• Run weekly supplier payments, prepare VAT returns and audit files.
• Liaise with external auditors, bankers and manage staff expense reviews.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports, product profitability and variance analysis, cost analysis and assist with stock valuation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent commercial training.
• 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant; QBE candidates welcome.
