About the role
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join an established manufacturing business in South East London. Reporting directly to the CFO and acting as the number two in the finance function, you will help shape financial strategy as the company enters its next growth phase.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable and payroll teams.
- Support month‑end close, journal entries, reconciliations and management reporting.
- Produce monthly management accounts, track budgets and key performance indicators.
- Develop and improve financial systems, processes and analytical tools.
- Provide data‑driven analysis to support senior management decision‑making.
Required profile
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified, preferably with SME experience.
- Strong technical accounting background with experience in data analysis and financial modelling.
- Creative problem‑solver with a proactive mindset.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel
- Power BI (preferred)
- Financial modelling
